DHUL HIJJAH: Making the most of the best days of the year

We are in THE BEST DAYS OF THE YEAR!!! This year Dhul-Hijjah started on Sunday 6th October 2013, Yaum al-Arafah on Monday 14th October 2013 (9 Dhul-Hijjah 1434), and Eid al-Adha will be on Tuesday 15th October 2013, (10 Dhul-Hijjah 1434) bi’idnillah.

Ibn ‘Abbas narrates: The Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these days” (i.e the first ten days of Dhu ’l-Hijjah). (Bukhari)

These days are the best days in the whole year – the best month is Ramadhan, the best nights are the Last 10 nights of Ramadhan, the best day in the year is Eid ul Adha, and the best days of the year are these days of Dhul Hijjah. 🙂
